Very rare vintage 14k gold Montblanc Safety Baby fountain pen (585)

This pen is particularly unusual : the top of the cap is set with a blue gemstone replacing the traditional star, a modification made by a jeweler.

• Length (with cap closed by screwing): 10.3 cm

• Nib: Solid 14K gold, engraved with "1", wide writing surface

• Filling system: Pipette or syringe, the body acting as a reservoir

The pen is functional and in very good condition , considering its age and use.
It comes in a superb vintage Montblanc case .
